Into the nauseated vortex that progresses from the clashing
of a thought or two.
I've seen the way some light provides some kind of cover,
some proof of a world outside,
A world that bares inside our brains and minds and where your
naked body shines in its own light.
I've felt the muffled edge holding the self's sharp corners:
The dagger of the mind.
I've felt it grow and wane and move and give some space
for you to wander as the world complies.

and then we're in this world inside our minds

and find some secret place for you and me.
Our brain grabs us from within,
if you come to terms with that your mind runs clean,
If you hold on to life real tight,
well just more like you let go and walk beside.
We sense our minds control,
if we mix that with our bodies then we have a soul,
And our souls are here to roam,
and to joy, and ache, and wonder and to love.
And we get a sense of yearning
as the life we chose or not begins to burn.
And we get a sense of peace
from the knowledge thats life just and only way.
